MySpace.com has become an extremely popular website because it easily allows users to create a custom, personalized space to keep in touch with their friends and make new friends. Users can make it their own by posting photos of friends, family and pets, create a blog to voice their opinion, and list their favorite music, movies or books.

But MySpace has been controversial recently because kids and teens put personal information out on the public Internet for the entire world to see including sexual predators. There have been several recent incidents of predators using the personal information gleened from a victim’s MySpace page to befriend and gain the confidence of their victim.
